Culinary Experiences Tales
Normally I do not write any lengthy reviews but for this experience I will make an exception. For my girlfriend's birthday I wanted to give her something that she would enjoy and would never forget. Well, that was definitely the case for this experience. The communication with Gloria was good and she had multiple seasonal menus for vegetarians. When we arrived at the location, we could not believe our eyes. Without spoiling too much, it was a scenery from a movie and the sunset was amazing! From the first moment we felt at home and it felt like we were invited by a friend for dinner rather than having a cooking workshop. The historical information, the quality of the products, the food, the wine (so good!!), location and last but not least the friendliness of Gloria made it the perfect night. Thanks again Gloria and if someone is doubting whether to book or not: DO IT!.

This is a must do experience when you are in Florence. Glória is a wonderful person who welcomes you in her beautiful home just as if you were family!! Fabulous food, which we got to prepare from ancient recipes in the traditional Tuscan style. Absolutely the highlight of our trip. Thank you Glória!!!

Our experience with Gloria was phenomenal! A delicious piece of history with a spectacular view. We loved all the small touches and attention to detail. You can tell Gloria has really taken the time to research all that she teaches you. It felt like we were in the home of a long time family friend. This experience with great conversation in her beautiful family home is one my husband and I won't soon forget. Book this experience you will not regret it!

This is the most amazing cooking class and authentic to the area! Gloria is passionate not only about cooking but her family roots which makes this class one that allows you to obtain the history behind the food, area, and Tuscan origins. The sharing of how cooking traditions were passed down to her made the experience personal and not a commercial tourist activity. The sharing of their home and the amazing views complete with sunset topped off this magical time.

We experienced a Tuscan feast. Thank you to our hosts, Matteo, Allesandra, and Gloria. Everything was a glorious experience from looking out to truly amazing views of the Tuscan hills to meeting Olympia, the overweight but very charming pig, whose instinctive sense of smell gives her an advantage over the dogs in sniffing out the truffles. My family and I were instructed on homemade pasta cooking, pomodoro and garlic sauce; we also learned to make and bake our own bread. Overall, we had an exceptional but authentic Tuscan cooking experience. If you are visiting Florence, you must venture to the Tuscan hills for an authentic and fun Tuscan cooking experience.

Gloria's experience exceeded our expectations. Her home is stunningly beautiful, with the most incredible view. Gloria was very knowledgeable, and she not only taught us the history behind the food, and the recipes, but she added in little tips and tricks to make the process easier and faster.
The experience was set it up so we got to make our own dough and dishes so we could touch and feel the ingredients. Everything we made was absolutely scrumptious and the bread was the best we tasted anywhere in Florence.
Gloria was an incredible host, and made us feel very comfortable. She shared her family's story with us, and we even got to meet her mom and her adorable animals.
Learning to cook Tuscan food with Gloria was the highlight of our trip to Tuscany and will be a memory we will cherish forever.
